What comes before :- Humanity or Patriotism?

Present leadership of world is full of right wing leaders (Russia, USA, India, UK, Netherlands). And where they are in minority, situations are being made up to put them in majority(most notably in (Italy, France, Germany). But, what right wing leaders got to do with the debate 'Humanity vs Patriotism '.

Firstly, we need to simplify these two different terms. Patriotism has its origin in Europe where people glorified aggressive nationalism and the concept of racial superiority together. This is the actual reason behind the two World War. On the other side, humanity unlike patriotism do not have a clear cut origin. It existed since the beginning of time. Humanity is not confined to any boundaries. Humanity means help to anyone and everyone who needs it.
without the distinction of caste, color, creed, sex or origin etc. On the contrary, patriotism differs from place to place. Some nations pacify the aggressive form of nationalism while
some support its modest form. Humanity is an universal idea which remains same wherever you go, very much unlike patriotism.

Now let's go back into the colonial era of India, i.e. 70 years ago. In those days, it was believed there was nothing more important than to serve your country , even die for the cause, defend it against invaders. We were told "don't ask what your country can do for you but what can you do for your country". At that time, it all sounded quite correct and logical. But now people are indoctrinated with the idea of patriotism for only one reason because it serves the interests of some political establishments, wealthy people, the plutocrats who are not at all concerned about their country nor any country since they belong to none.

Since patriotism means the defence of one's country against foreign aggression, it necessarily follows that the Iraqi terrorists are not terrorists at all but heroic patriots who defended their homeland against the barbaric aggression of American semi-human gangster-terrorists who came all the way from the other side of the world to liberate the oil fields. This concept overall defeats the so called purpose of Humanity because American forces are regarded as terrorists while the Iraqi terrorists are called patriots but the ground reality was different. American forces on humanitarian grounds entered Iraq and freed it from its dictator and forces. The result of war is wholly different issue and need further debate.

To sum up the issue we can look at some statements made by the liberal:-
1.) "Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel" - Samuel Johnson
2.) "Patriotism can't be our final spiritual shelter, my shelter is humanity. I will not buy glass for the price of diamonds and I will never allow patriotism to triumph over humanity as long as I live" - Rabindranath Tagore

Right wing is the cause for over growth of aggressive nationalism and one should always prevent such things from spreading because such things prevent us from growing as a society, community, nation. Wherever the question comes 'humanity or patriotism ' humanity shall prevail.

Tomorrow 26/11/2012 will be the fourth anniversary of 26/11/2008 attack on Mumbai. That day spread deep darkness in India. People of India were afraid of terrorism that day. But the time had changed. Nobody cares for nobody. The places where terrorists attacked were very crowded areas but after the attack that places become silent. But people show a great respect for Indian army, police and other defence agencies and trusted them that it will not happen again and the areas which were attacked were seen crowded after a few days again. This shows the strength of Indian people against terrorism. Only one  Face of Terrorism terrorist named Ajmal Kasab(a Pakistan civilian) was caught alive by Indian defence forces. And on 22-11-2012 he was hanged or sentenced as order by Supreme Court and after the Indian President rejected his mercy petition. He was hanged to death very secretly and operation was named “X”. Thus the people who lost their loved ones get some relief on hearin...
